This is a blog about the geometa.info project and some other GIS-related fancy tools like the GeoConverter:
The geometa.info project explores geographic information retrieval and robust web or mobile geographic knowledge management. The services are hosted at University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil HSR, Institute for Software and GISpunkt HSR.
The two main prototype services of the project are geometa.info the search engine and geometa Directory the GIS metadata catalog and link list. These open geospatial web applications contain not only searchable resources but are also directly accessible in the future via webservices free of charge.
